A delicous refreshment after a day of surfing.
The videos are back and now it’s time to play a little catch up. Here’s a video from a few days ago on the island of Morro de Sao Paulo. This time with a beautiful backdrop, I share my experiences in Salvador Bahia including surfing, Forro, and Candomble. Click play and hear all about it and check out the links below for more info.

Came to Morro de Sao Paulo with no reservations or expectations. Like many times on this adventure I let fate take its course. Where I ended was in a tropical paradise with no foreigners in sight. Finding a private room overlooking the ocean was easy and the island had the perfect amount of hot weather and white clouds in the sky. Waves crashed on the shore and distant children played soccer; these were the sounds that kept me company the first night in Morro. There is no challenge here to think about, no stress of everyday life, the seemingly impossible slips away with the cool salty breeze. Life slows down, the locals take there time, eating, drinking, and even talking to one another. “Good morning” or “good afternoon” seem like invitations for conversation rather than quick passing gestures. Check out the gallery above for pics and keep an eye out for video about my day long trek in the forest.
Its been an eventful past four days here in Salvador Bahia. I’ve had the chance to experience many things from Forro dancing to surfing; even a Candomble ritual. I’ve also spent the last four days trying to upload a video update for everyone with little success. When I find a better connection it will be posted. Until then check out the pic gallery above. Tomorrow I’m off to Morro de Sao Paulo, there it will be a relaxing two nights of sandy beaches and tropical rain forests.
