One of my favorite photographers of all time, Sebastião Salgado had an exhibition this weekend at the Tokyo Metropolitan Museum of Photography located in beautiful Ebisu. His exhibition consisted of over 100 works covering Africa including ones from his latest 10-year GENESIS project. His pieces all in black and white were powerful and looking at them one can’t help but feel they’re living in the moment it was taken. Salgado puts himself in unimaginable places and opens your eyes to parts of Africa never seen. Provocative and painful, this was certainly one exhibit that leaves you forever changed.
